Paying homage to the culture of raggamuffin MC’s, Greek Dj & Producer Thatstyle releases his breakthrough LP “Dubyard”, a scorching 8-track showcase of dancehall and dub to rub-a-dub and hip-hop. Teaming up with a stellar combination of international vocalists from Bahia to London, Dubyard explores the trajectory of pioneering MC styles by allowing each artist to contribute to and define its present history. Through heavy and deep baselines, groovy drum loops and energetic collaborations, Thatstyle is only further cementing his unbelievably contagious brand of digital reggae, as Dubyard rises above the average to reveal the enduring depth of this young producer.

Two Jamaican artists Peppery & Kojo Neatness team up to lay praise to sound system culture, praising the “Big Sound” and its power to make the crowd gather around, as the Greek-ragga ringmaster Big Shine passed the mic to ride on a fresh version of the classic “Sleng Teng” riddim. The legendary walk & skank pioneer Jah Screechy delivers wisdom and swagger on “Nah Give Up” during a true UK mic veteran called Speng Bond spread his “Boom Shak” verses in the dance session. Irie Nanara, the young talent from Spain finds her skill in entertaining listeners with “Skanking Shoes” and the outstanding fellow MC from Madrid Lasai has no issue to test any soundbwoy in “No One”. Coming together with the Brazilian Singer from Salvador, Soraia Drummond, sings about the fake promises in life in “Easy man” with a blend of Portuguese and English lyrics while Jah Mirikle and Fedzilla pay tribute to John Holt’s timeless anthem in “High Grades”.
